Head to head
MyoLift Mini vs NuFACE TRINITY+
One of these is a professional tool scaled down for home use. The other is a consumer device designed so you cannot get it wrong. Neither is better; they are for different people.

The core difference
Two philosophies
NuFACE is designed so that a beginner cannot really get it wrong. Twin spheres on a single handle, fixed intensity levels, a sensor that adjusts output to the area, and an app that shows you the pass pattern. The device absorbs the technique.
MyoLift is a scaled-down professional tool. Two independent probes, manual microamp adjustment, and no preset telling you what to do. The esthetician technique is to place one probe at a muscle's origin and one at its insertion and hold, which treats a specific muscle rather than sweeping an area. The operator supplies the technique.

Technique
What twin independent probes buy you
A single handle with two fixed spheres can only treat the tissue between those spheres, at whatever spacing the device was built with. Two independent probes can be placed anywhere relative to each other, which means current can be directed along a specific muscle rather than across whatever happens to lie between two points a few centimeters apart.
That is a real capability difference and it is why professional microcurrent uses this form. It is also useless if you do not know where the muscles are, and most home users do not.
Running costs
The consumables differ too
NuFACE uses conductive gel applied to the skin. MyoLift's professional technique uses cotton tips on the probes, dampened with conductive solution. Neither is expensive, but they are different habits and the MyoLift one is fussier - another small friction point in a category where friction decides adherence.
Regulation
The clearance detail
K213078 covers the MyoLift QT, cleared 27 April 2023, applicant Johari Digital Healthcare Limited, product code NFO. We could not locate a separate record naming the Mini.
NuFACE's K201782 names the Trinity Plus device directly, and the brand has seven other records in the same code. On verifiability, NuFACE is ahead again.

FDA clearance located
510(k) K201782 (NuFace Trinity Plus Device, cleared 22 January 2021, product code NFO - over-the-counter powered facial toning). The Wrinkle Reducer attachment carries its own clearance, K212947 (2 April 2022, product code OHS).
What works
- Publishes its actual microamp output, which most of this category refuses to do
- Two located clearances, one for the device and one for the LED attachment
- Two-year warranty is the longest here
What does not
- Attachments are sold separately and add up fast
- Needs conductive gel every session, which is a running cost
- The app is a convenience, not a reason to buy

What works
- Manual current control is the closest a home device gets to professional technique
- The family has a located clearance in the right product code
- Twin probes let you work one muscle at a time
What does not
- Steep learning curve, and it punishes sloppy technique
- No separate located clearance for the Mini
- Needs cotton tips and solution, not just gel
Specifications from FDA 510(k) K213078, checked 13 October 2026.
The decision
Who should buy which
- NuFACE TRINITY+ if you want a device that works well on day one with no study, or if a published output and a model-specific clearance matter.
- MyoLift Mini if you are genuinely going to learn the technique, if you have had professional microcurrent and want to replicate it, or if manual control appeals to you more than presets.
- Not MyoLift if you are buying it because it sounds more professional. The capability only materializes with the technique, and buying the harder tool does not supply it.
