Tell us what we got wrong

The fastest way to improve this site is to tell us when it is wrong. If a specification here does not match the manufacturer's current page, or we missed a 510(k) record that exists, say so and we will fix it with a note explaining what changed.

• Corrections. A wrong wavelength, a clearance number we missed, a product that has been discontinued. These go to the top of the pile.
• Specification challenges. If you work for one of these brands and we have said a figure is unpublished when it is not, point us at the page and we will cite it.
• Questions about a device we cover, as far as the published specifications go.
• Press and partnership enquiries.

• Medical advice. We are not clinicians and we will not guess about your skin. Anything involving a diagnosis, a medication interaction or a reaction to a device belongs with a dermatologist.
• Warranty and returns. Those are between you and the retailer or manufacturer. We do not sell anything and we cannot intervene.
• Which device will work on you specifically. We can tell you what each device publishes and what it is cleared for. We cannot predict an outcome, and anyone who offers to is guessing.
• Reviewing your product. We do not accept review units, because we do not test devices and accepting them would imply we do.
