Privacy policy

This policy explains what Glow & Current collects when you visit, why, and what we do not collect. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past.

• Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read, how people arrive, and which buy buttons are clicked. This is aggregate and anonymous: we cannot identify an individual from it and we do not attempt to. GA4 sets cookies in your browser to do this.
• Contact form submissions. If you send a message, we receive the name, email address, topic and message you typed. That is delivered to our inbox by email and is used only to reply to you.
• Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records request data including IP address, user agent and timestamp, as every web server does. We use this only for security and diagnostics.

• We do not sell data to anyone, ever.
• We do not run a newsletter or a mailing list, so there is no list to be added to.
• We do not take payment, so we never see card or billing details.
• We do not build advertising profiles or run retargeting pixels.
• We do not ask you to create an account, because there is nothing here to log into.

When you click a buy button, you pass through our own redirect at `/go` and then on to the retailer with our affiliate tag attached. The redirect records the click as an anonymous analytics event and nothing else. Once you arrive at the retailer, that retailer's own privacy policy and cookies apply, not ours. The only cookies this site sets are those placed by Google Analytics 4. You can block them in your browser settings or with any standard content blocker; the site works identically without them. Affiliate retailers set their own cookies once you arrive on their site.

• Google Analytics - traffic measurement. Google's own privacy policy governs that data.
• Vercel - hosting. Standard server logs.
• Microsoft Graph - the service that delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
• Amazon - the retailer we link to. Their policy applies once you land there.

You can block analytics cookies at any time. If you have sent us a message and want it deleted, email contact@glowandcurrent.com and we will delete it from our inbox. Depending on where you live you may have statutory rights of access, correction and deletion; we will honor any such request we can verify.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not make material changes quietly.
